Video Fusion

The foundation of video fusion is the ability to combine multiple video sources into one composite image. The Acadia®I Vision Accelerator Board will fuse together images from day video cams, thermal infrared, laser, radar, LIDAR, SAR (synthetic aperature), MMW (millimeter wave) or hyper spectral sensors.  This technology takes key information from different sensors and fuses it into a single, easy-to-interpret view. Extended dynamic range and depth of field enhance the clarity and precision of the image while highlighting details that would typically not be visible to the naked eye.
