Turn-key Video Analysis Tool for Law Enforcement Using Cutting-Edge Technologies

PRINCETON, NJ – September 5, 2006 – Pyramid Vision, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sarnoff Corporation, today announced the official launch of Sarensix™, a turn-key service for law enforcement agencies that require the most advanced forensic video enhancement services on an as-needed basis.

Using patented technology, Sarensix quickly and accurately turns raw video surveillance footage into evidence by processing multiple frames of video as a complete segment to create a clear and complete picture. The only video forensics service that uses multiple-frame fusion processing, Sarensix offersunmatched video enhancement capabilities including automatically scanning surrounding video frames for lost information, stabilizing blurry video caused by camera shake or subject movement, and clarifying features and details not visible to the naked eye.

"Most surveillance video is of poor quality and simply enhancing a single frame, a technique used by most analysis services, often fails to result in clear and actionable visual evidence," said Mike Matisa, associate member of the technical staff at Sarnoff. "Sarensix’s multiple-frame processing provides law enforcement officers with a more clear and accurate image upon which to make arrests or establish evidence in an ongoing investigation. And, for law enforcement agencies with minimal budgets, Sarensix provides unmatched video enhancement capabilities on a cost-effective, as-needed basis."

Sarensix accepts most recorded formats and mediums, including high-resolution digital video recordings (DVR) and low-quality surveillance or amateur video. Sarensix services include high resolution print images and distribution of digitally enhanced recordings via the Internet or compact disc.

The scope of Sarensix services includes assessments of video footage, enhancement based on customer requirements, packaging of evidence for use in court proceedings, and expert testimony on video enhancement processes.
